We take it through filing season.
We prepare your client's year-end federal and state returns as well as their books. The whole engagement leaves your desk and stays gone.
Outsourced accounting · Monthly close · Fully remote
We're the outsourced accounting team for companies of 30 to 250 people. We'll clean up whatever is behind you, then close your month, every month — so you can stop chasing your own numbers and get back to running the place.
What we do
We take the whole thing — from your first transaction to your tax return.
We keep your ledger, reconcile your accounts, close your month, and file your return at year end. One firm holds all of it, so you're not stitching three vendors together and hoping they talk to each other.
| Core accounting | We record and classify your transactions, keep your general ledger current, and rebuild your chart of accounts so it makes sense to the people reading it. |
|---|---|
| Reconciliations | Your bank and card accounts reconciled every month. When something doesn't tie, we chase it that month, while someone still remembers the transaction. |
| Receivables & payables | We track and age your AR and AP, and flag the balances that need you to pick up the phone. |
| Monthly close | Your balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, once your ledger has actually closed. |
| Catch-up & cleanup | We rebuild your prior periods, however far back it goes. This is core work here, and you won't be charged like it's an emergency. |
| Year-end returns | The same people who kept your books all year prepare your federal and state returns. |
| Payroll administration | Keep your own payroll platform and keep paying that provider directly. We take admin access, configure it, run your cycles and check your filings. They stay the processor. We operate the account. |
How it works
You get the same sequence whatever systems you're on. We fit the calendar around how your business actually runs.
We pull your period activity, classify it, post your recurring entries, and tell you early what's missing so you have time to find it.
Every bank and card account tied back to your ledger. Anything that doesn't tie, we chase that month, while someone still remembers the transaction.
We age your open receivables and payables and flag the balances that need you to make a call.
We work your balance sheet accounts, fix the misclassifications, post the adjustments, and confirm your ledger hangs together.
You get your balance sheet, P&L and cash flow off a ledger that closed. Anything we couldn't resolve, we tell you in plain words.
We document what's still open, keep your support attached, and start your next month from a ledger that genuinely closed.
Catch-up and cleanup
It's usually the reason people call us in the first place.
We'll work your prior periods, reconcile what can be reconciled, rebuild the structure where it was never there, and tell you plainly what still needs an answer from your side. When we hand you a balance, we can show you exactly where it came from.
For referring firms
Below your minimum. Too far behind to be worth your team's hours. The wrong shape for your practice. Send us the whole engagement, including the return, and you can stop thinking about it.
We prepare your client's year-end federal and state returns as well as their books. The whole engagement leaves your desk and stays gone.
Catch-up is most of what we take on. We price and staff for it, and we expect it when a new client arrives.
We work the engagement you send us and leave the rest alone. Your client's other work is yours, and so are your other clients.
We'll tell you what's done and what's still open. If something turns up that changes the picture for you, you hear it from us first.
Who'll be doing the work
I spent more than three decades building and running the financial systems behind fintech companies, banks and payment platforms, where every number reconciled or somebody came asking why.
That work ran through payments, fraud controls, and compliance programs including PCI and FFIEC examinations and KYC, BSA and AML workflows. Every balance had to trace back to something.
You get that same standard on your books: balances you can trace, a close that lands on schedule, and a straight answer from me when something is wrong.
FAQ
It depends on the shape your records are in, the systems you're on, and how much you want us to own. Give us fifteen minutes on the phone and we'll give you a real number.
There's no cutoff. Tell us the last month that closed cleanly, if you know it, and we'll work forward from there.
No. Keep your platform and keep paying them directly. We take admin access, configure it, run your cycles and check your filings.
Yes. If a firm referred you, we'll report back on status and anything material that turns up. That relationship stays theirs.
Entirely. We work through secure access to your accounting, banking and payroll systems. There's nothing to drive to.
